I am in awe of the movie and the Doc wow these women are so complex almost make me sad to see how beautiful they were an dto see them in the doc ! that is so quicly the mind can take before you go into survial mode. That is basicaly what they did. they are wonderful loving women and they did the best they could!

i saw the movie…lange and barrymore are simply outstanding..i dare say they both deserve awards…the story is riveting as well….
All my life the song ‘Tea For Two’ only seemed silly and it wasn’t until I watched the documentary and saw Big Edie transported and in ecstacy by the song that I understood it. My jaw dropped when I saw Jessica Lange recreate the exact same moment in the the HBO movie. She really is the best actress in America I think.
This movie was exaclty just that Epic. Drew and Jessica did an amazing job mimicing the real people.
I ordered HBO just to see this too! With such high expectations going into it, I was completely floored. Drew just NAILED it and Jessica Lange was tremendous as well. Such a brilliant movie!
The movie breaks every artistic ground that anyone would like to break or be part of, As a follower of Cult and underground movies and a follower of Grey Gardens since my youth, owner of rare couture worn by Edie and knowledgeable of vintage couture, This movie should make every drag queen,fashion designer, etc, etc, Read More proud, that HBO believes in what we are all after what Andy Warhol said, 15 minutes of fame.
and for all of you who think i am fkd up watch Royce on ‘ you Know NOTHING!
